In a nutshell…

Our client is a leading company in their sector, operating a high-performing warehouse and logistics operation. They are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all warehouse activities at their Kings Lynn site. You will manage inbound, outbound, and internal material movements, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and operational excellence. In addition, you will lead and develop a small team of warehouse operators, supporting a culture of continuous improvement and high standards in health, safety, and performance.

What’s involved for the Warehouse Supervisor…

• Supervise 7 Warehouse Operatives

• Ensure safe working practices, compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and conduct audits and risk assessments.

• Monitor, analyse, and report operational performance and metrics.

• Maintain stock accuracy and oversee efficient picking, packing, and loading of vehicles.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, Kaizen activities, and Lean Manufacturing practices.

• Contribute to new product introductions and product simplification projects.

• Manage team performance, coaching, development, and conflict resolution.

• Liaise with colleagues across functions such as HR, Technical, Engineering, Finance, and third-party logistics providers.

What you’ll need…

• Proven experience in warehouse supervision or leadership, managing and developing teams.

• Warehouse Management System experience.

• Valid Forklift Truck licence IDEAL

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.

• Highly organised, process-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Desirable but not essential:

• First aider, fire marshal, fire extinguisher handling.

• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools.

This is a full-time, permanent role, Monday to Friday covering the hours between 6am and 6pm working only 37.5 hours per week with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
