Our client is a market leading manufacturing company that have sold their equipment into the hospitality industry all over the world. Due to impressive growth, a new Business Development Manager role has now become available to manage and grow a portfolio of new accounts in the Midlands area

The successful candidate will have proven business development background and must be a natural salesperson with a consultative approach. You must thrive on achieving annual targets and take a “blue sky thinking” approach when trying to develop new client accounts and scouting for business.


What’s involved for the Business Development Manager …


  • Customer facing B2B development role

  • Build long lasting strong client relationships

  • Account management of new clients onboarded

  • Immerse yourself in the product range to aid giving the best customer service

  • Build a technical understanding of product portfolio

  • Build and document new clients’ needs and future growth

  • Carry out demonstrations where needed onsite

  • Carry out inspections and valuations of any part exchanges

  • Update CRM system daily

  • Meet and exceed company targets


What you’ll need…


  • Proven track record winning new business

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Commercial awareness and problem solving

  • Skilled sales and business development techniques

  • Listen and give solutions to clients buying needs

  • Technical or mechanical ability is advantageous but not essential

  • Ability to work under own initiative and be self-motivated

  • Full UK driver’s license

This is a Full time, permanent Business Development Manager role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 17:00pm
