Up to £55,000 Basic  + Excellent Benefits

Our client is a leading engineering solutions provider delivering bespoke automation and control systems across multiple industries.

Due to continued growth and new project wins across the UK, our client is now looking to expand their design team offering part time or full time hours to suit a candidate with a background in electrical design.

What’s involved for the Electrical Design Engineer…

• Create detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and supporting documentation

• Design low and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems

• Perform electrical load calculations and fault level analysis

• Use industry-standard design tools and software to develop systems

• Design and specify electrical switchboards and control panels

• Select appropriate cabling, containment, and protective devices

• Produce switching schedules and cable schedules

• Ensure all designs comply with current electrical standards and regulations

• Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables are met on schedule

What you’ll need…

• Background in electrical design engineering

• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems

• Proficient in CAD and other electrical design / calculation software

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Comfortable collaborating with external consultants, clients, and internal teams
