Estates Surveyor

Up to £52,000 P.A Full Time, Permanent Cambridge

Remote / Hybrid working

Working for world leading and innovative company based in Cambridge, the Estates Surveyor will be responsible for the management of operational and none operational property throughout the Cambridge area. You will preserve the company assets and provide professional advice on all aspects of property management and acquisition.

You will also have a firm handle on the local and national commercial property markets whilst keeping up to date with recent legislation by networking with local agents and property professionals.

What’s involved for the Estates Surveyor:-

· Work alongside the commercial estates manger overseeing all estates

· Provide professional property advice for best ROI

· Work with property professionals and solicitors to acquire or dispose properties

· Deal with external consultants for legal advice on rental reviews or lease renewals

· Manage budgets and service charges

· Deal with land owners on all property related issues

· Deal with planning applications

· Manage all tenants lease contracts

· Manage rent terminations, statuary notices and take court action if necessary

· Inspect buildings and sites

· Deal with freehold and lease purchases and sales

· Manage external contractors such as Structural Engineers, drainage surveys and

mechanical / electrical engineers

· Manage property sales end to end including completion of all documentation

· Undertake the valuation of land and property

· Conduct site surveys and preparation of reports

What you’ll need:-

· Member of the Royal Institute to Chartered Surveyors (RICS)

· Strong property commercial awareness

· Strong negotiation skills

· Surveying experience

· Property experience within either commercial and/or public

· Property sales and letting experience

· MUST be able to drive
