Working was part of an established team you will play a pivotal role in covering the Tunbridge area carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work on commercial vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a background in HGV, LGV, plant machinery or mechanical handling equipment.

What’s involved for the Field Service Engineer…

• Carry out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial vehicles

• Carry out refurbishments and accident damage repair work

• Manage your own regional territory

• Attend customer sites

• Deal with all mechanical and electrical work on vehicles

• Fault find and diagnose electrical issues

What you’ll need…

• Commercial vehicle, HGV, LGV, Agricultural, FLT, heavy plant machinery mechanical handling equipment background

• MUST have mechanical and electrical vehicle experience

• Hydraulic experience ideal

• HGV Licence advantageous but not essential

• Ability to interpret technical information

• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels

• Good written and verbal communication skills

This is a Full time, permanent Field Service Engineer role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm.
