Finance Manager

Peterborough Full Time, Permanent £60,000 - £65,000 P.A + Car Allowance + Bonus

We are working with a leading manufacturing company in Peterborough who supply their products to leading retailers across the UK.

The successful candidate will have senior accounts experience and will be responsible for analysing financial information and implementing effective strategies to enhance business performance.

Accountabilities for the Finance Manager…

• Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth

• Full P&L ownership for end to end performance of the business

• Leading the planning and forecasting processes

• Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making

• Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process

• Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis

• Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations

• Review company assets and liabilities

• Manage a small accounting team

What you’ll need…

• Qualified or part qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA. Qualified by experience also considered

• Proven experience within a similar role

• Strong Excel skills (V Lookups, Pivot Tables etc)

• Commercially aware

• Ability to communicate with people at all levels, both financial and non-financial

• Highly competent, with solid commercial acumen

• Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience of managing and motivating a small team

• Experience of understanding manufacturing operations IDEAL
