Finance Manager (Hybrid working)

£60,000 – £63,000 P.A + 30% Pension + 41 days holiday!!! Full Time, Permanent Cambridge

Our client is a world leading organisation who are recognised globally for their services. Due to continued growth and expansion, a position for a Finance Manager has now become available to lead their finance team supporting their property group function. This exciting position will see you getting involved with multiple projects to support the expansion of their buildings and facilities across Cambridge.

The ideal candidate will be a guru within an accounts function. You will provide regular financial performance and risk monitoring whilst carrying out reporting, budgeting, forecasting and long term 5 year planning. You will be excellent at providing sound accurate financial advice, allowing internal stakeholders to make key decision within the business to ensure the growth and development of their estate.

What’s involved for the Finance Manager…

• Ensure financial plans and objectives align with relevant department objectives

• Build on a 5 year annual forecast formulating the financial strategy

• Undertake all budgeting and forecasts

• Prepare end of year financial accounts

• Variance analysis

• Produce budgets and business plans

• Be a part of new and existing projects

• Provide relevant advice on financial planning and management to relevant departments

• Management reporting

• Risk management

• Act as a primary point of contact for the finance and estates division

• Manage a small team of management accountants

• Deal with resource management

What you’ll need:-

• Significant experience within a senior accounts role

• Experience of leading and developing accounts team

• Ability to interpret financial information and present at all levels

• Knowledge of VAT rule and regulations

• MUST be degree educated or have a relevant accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA or similar.
