Our client is a market leading company that specialises in the manufacturing and supply of commercial food processing equipment all over all over the world. The company focuses and prides themselves on creating innovative solutions for their customers which makes them the best at what they do!

Covering the Reading region, you will be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in a technical capacity to deliver expected levels of new equipment installations to the Region’s customers for a broad range of commercial catering equipment such as dishwashers, ware-washers, ovens, mixing machines, food, and beverage preparation etc.

No food industry experience required as full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical, gas or mechanical engineering.

What’s involved for Installation Engineer…

• To carry out new equipment installations

• Deal with associated plumbing, electrics and gas supplies

• Disconnecting and removal of old products

• Manage van stock effectively and to order and account for spare parts as necessary.

• Complete all associated paperwork

• Use electronic timesheets on PDA device keeping an accurate log of working time, time in transit, on and offsite.

• Attend meetings and training courses that may be required when necessary.

• Maintain good customer relations

What you’ll need…

• Electrical experience is essential

• Electrical qualifications or certifications advantageous

• Fault Finding on electrical equipment is essential

• Ability to read wiring diagrams is essential

• Gas experience advantageous but not essential

• Equipment installation or commissioning advantageous but not essential
