IT Field Engineer

The position will involve IT remote and onsite support to their bank of customers. You will have previous experience working in an IT support role up to 3rd line as you will be required to investigate, diagnose, and resolve all IT incidents as well as implement change and provide general infrastructure support.

What’s involved for the IT Field Engineer…

• Provide onsite and remote IT Support

• Advise on infrastructure problems and provide network solutions

• Take ownership of technical problems and be proactive

• Support with all hardware devices including desktops / notebook computers, mobile devices, servers and printers.

• Deliver, install, and configure IT equipment at client sites.

• Provide basic training to users

• Deal with Microsoft and Apple OS, applications, local services (antivirus, firewall, print spoolers, etc.)

• Deal with all networking (LAN / WAN, IPV4, Gateways, DHCP)

• Ensure faults are diagnosed and dealt with in agreed SLA’s

What you’ll need…

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Apple operating systems

• Office 365 administration

• Windows Server & Active Directory

• Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner

• Ability to communicate at technical and nontechnical levels

• Understanding of LAN, WAN and WiFi networks

• IT Engineer or 3rd line experience
