In a nutshell…

Our client is a leader in logistic solutions across the UK. Their products are delivered all over the UK to the retail and food manufacturing industry, typically delivering in excess of 15,000 pallets of food and packaging per week.

Our client has continued to expand, providing its services to manufacturers and importers where their business has grown tenfold. Due to this growth, they are now looking to recruit a Load Planner to build up transport loads in the most efficient manner to keep drops and mileage at a minimum.

What’s involved for the Load Planner…

• Build all transport loads to ensure that all deliveries are cost efficient

• Ensure that all orders are booked in with the delivery points

• Ensure that all loads have both delivery and collection points

• Liaise with customer service to ensure orders are potentially moved to utilise the fleet and loads being built

• Raising manually required jobs (charging jobs for Tesco/Bidfood etc).

• To undertake other duties as may be reasonably required in relation to the role and department.

What you’ll need…

• Transport Planner / Logistics / Coordinator or Load Planning experience

• Excellent Microsoft Office experience

• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels

This is a Full time, permanent Load Planner role, working Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm.
