Senior Project Engineer (Building Services)

Croydon Hybrid working (3 days WFH) Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 (DOE)

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join a fast growing and dynamic company based in Croydon.

The successful applicant will be supporting the directors with the management of mechanical and electrical building services teams. You will act as the technical interface between internal stakeholders and play a pivotal role in delivering a wide range of commercial and industrial building services projects throughout the UK.

To be considered for this role you must have experience with managing and designing mechanical building services projects in the UK.

You will work on a variety of high-end projects from concept to completion. You will be maintaining and developing relationships with clients and ensure that projects are delivered on time and in budget.

What’s involved for the Senior Project Engineer…

• Collaborating with the client and project delivery teams

• Manage multiple projects from concept to finish

• Produce mechanical designs, calculations, equipment schedules and other technical information to meet the agreed project stage

• Understand the project brief and scope of building services required

• Cary out site surveys

• Understand project risks and produce MEP residual risk reports

• Lead sustainability and efficiency within designs and recommendations

• Organise and participate in technical design reviews and check the work of others

What you’ll need…

• Must have mechanical engineering experience within building services

• Must have CAD Design experience

• Technical report writing skills

• Knowledge of CDM regulations and British Standards

• Knowledge of electrical services

• Site surveying experience

• Recent, relevant UK experience

• Good attention to detail

• Must have UK driving licence

• Commitment to continuous professional development
