Our award winning client is a Leading IT provider based in the West Midlands who support over 3000 clients across the UK, Europe and US. They pride themselves on being a trusted partner who really care about providing tailored and second to none customer service and IT support.

A Service Desk Manager is now required to be a part of this fantastic company. The is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to progress a career within I.T with a forward thinking and innovative company.

You will be leading the IT Service Desk Team ensuring that first class service is at the forefront of the business. The company is going through an exciting period of expansion; therefore you’ll play a key part in the resource management and growth of the department.

What’s involved for the Service Desk Manager…

  • Ensuring that the service desk is performing to the business needs

  • Work with IT project and development teams as and when required

  • Apply continuous improvement methods across the service division

  • Maintain security and risk practices for the department

  • Establish and implement new process and procedures

  • Manage and train service desk analyst

  • Support field engineers

  • Ensure that service SLA’s are being adhered to

  • Attend management meetings as and when required

  • Maintain a high level of customer service and support

What you’ll need…

  • Experience working within a management role such as call centre, service desk or similar

  • IT or Communications MSP experience preferred

  • Ability to communicate at all levels

  • Proven leadership experience

  • Experience of developing teams

  • Ambitions to grow the business and themselves

  • Excellent communicator at all levels

  • Full UK driving licence
