Our client is a market leading company that specialises in the manufacture and supply of equipment all over all over the world. The company focuses and prides themselves on creating innovative solutions for their customers which makes them the best at what they do.


Working as part of the innovations and solutions team, you will play a key part in the development of company software and work with internal stakeholders to refine and advance solutions through the software development lifecycle from concept to completion. You will have a solid background in software development and embrace / promote change to enhance systems across all departments.


What’s involved for the Software Developer…


  • Partner closely with stakeholders to develop solutions.

  • Be a part of and lead workshops and brainstorming sessions to extract requirements.

  • Create process flows and data models.

  • Prioritise needs effectively to keep projects aligned with business goals.

  • Identify and evaluate potential technological solutions.

  • Oversee the creation of comprehensive testing and documentation, including success criteria, test scripts, and plans.

  • Coordinate all software testing, engaging with internal and external parties.

  • Develop training material.


What you’ll need…


  • Must have software development experience.

  • Must be based in the UK and local to Peterborough or willing to commute.

  • JavaScript, C#, SQL database scripting experience.

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerBI, HTML, and ASP.NET.


Desirable…


  • Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365

  • Experienced in .NET, SharePoint, or other MS-Stack components.

  • Strong background in testing, troubleshooting, code review, and quality assurance.

  • Familiar with Agile methodologies
