In a nutshell…

We are looking for a Structural CAD Designer to join a fast growing and dynamic engineering practice in Leicestershire. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in designing and detailing a wide range of commercial, industrial, and residential structural and façade projects throughout the UK.

You will have the privilege of working on a variety of high-end projects from concept to completion whilst working in a fantastic office space. This is truly a great company to work for that’s expanding rapidly which presents progression opportunities for the right individual.

What’s involved for the Structural CAD Designer…

• Play an important part in designing a wide range of building structures and façade projects

• Liaise closely with engineers to ensure accurate drawing representation

• Carry out timber, steel, and concrete layout drawings on AutoCAD

• Deal with reinforcement detailing and scheduling

What you’ll need…

• MUST have CAD or Revit design experience

• Have experience working with steel, concrete, timber or masonry IDEAL

• Revit experience desirable but not essential as full training provided

• Experience within the construction industry

• Experience within the façade / cladding industry or structural engineering

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This is a Full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday with an excellent working environment and a company that offer further development and training on design software such as Revit.
